Marion Sky Harper is eleven years old and attends ACS Cobham International School. She was born in Redwood City, California and has five older brothers. Marion has moved many times because of her parents’ military service and has been living in England for over four years. She has always been a creative soul who enjoys the arts; especially reading and writing. Marion gravitates towards creating with her hands and making people laugh!

Winner of the 2018 Elmbridge Literary Competition: 11-13 Year Olds Poem

The Elmbridge Literary Competition was established by The RC Sherriff Trust, an independent arts charity working in the Borough of Elmbridge and Elmbridge Borough Council. Previous competitions have included subjects as varied as Dickens, fantasy, love and short radio plays. In celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s ‘Frankenstein’, the themes for the 2017 Competition were ‘Things that Go Bump in the Night’ (5-13 Age Category) and ‘A Shiver Down the Spine’ (14-18 & Adult Categories).
