Vilde Valerie Bjerke Torset is a Spanish Norwegian poet, artist and actor living in London. Her publications include works in A New Type of Imprint, BRYGG, Alvar Magazine, Ripple, Ren Sommer and Utflukt. Melodilaust tone fall – Silje Ree

Silje Ree is a Norwegian poet from the small town of Bryne. In 2018, she published E∩N, a poetry pamphlet which uses words found across the English and Norwegian languages. The same year she participated at the European Camarade in Manchester and had her poetry exhibited at NorskArt London and the Museum of Futures. She has published poetry in 3am magazine, Lasso and Filologen.

Orbiting the Yellow Ball – Jon Ståle Ritland

Jon Ståle Ritland is a poet and ophthalmologist from Norway. His first collection of poetry Kroppsvisitasjoner (Aschehoug, 2004) was translated to English [Body Searches] and published by Broken Dimanche Press in 2013. He has also published two more collections of poetry, Vannmerker [Watermarks] (Aschehoug, 2009), and I bane rundt en gul ball [in orbit around a yellow ball] (Olympiastadion 2014), and the essay Når det biokjemiske språk inntar litteraturens kropp [When Biochemical Language Enters the Body of Literature] (OEI, 2009). Ritland’s poems have been presented at Copenhagen Art Institute (2012), Agora, Berlin (2013), Oslo International Poetry Festival (2014), StAnza Festival i St Andrews, Scotland (2015), and Poetry International Festival Rotterdam (2016).

Expect the Baboon – Morten Langeland

Morten Langeland (1986) lives and works in Oslo. He has studied comparative literature, creative writing at Litterär Gestaltning in Gothenburg and fine arts at Oslo National Academy of Arts. He is a literature critic for the newspaper Klassekampen and is an editor at the small pressH//O//F. Langeland has published four books of poetry since his debut Æ æ å (I am as well) in 2012. His books are in style all marked by a certain playfulness – from writing in his southern dialect in his debut to his latest book Zoonetter (Nights in the Zoo) which is a collection of broken sonnets. His books also include Bavian (Baboon) and Den egentlige kommunen (The Actual Commune).Langeland won the prestigous prize “Stig Sæterbakkens Minnepris” in 2016.
